Drawing on the Irish/Celtic myth of the banshee, a female figure of the Otherworld who announces death, this work unfolds as a vocal soundscape of lament and mourning, performed alongside a slow walk from public space to the top floor of a building. The piece situates the performer’s flesh as a site of affective and mythic resonance.
