ghost revisits the project Rites of Passage, using a portrait from the 2018 speech-performance as the basis for a study in CMYK silkscreen printing. Each rendering engages color and contrast while attending to silkscreen variables—pressure, direction, localized color application, and intensity—transforming the photograph into a material that displays the performative gesture embedded in this printing technique.
