Through vocal improvisation and a critical engagement with the operatic voice, leo dismembers and reorganizes song structures. For the Sommerfest 2022 at Akademie Schloss Solitude, this process is performed using Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ I Put a Spell on You as a base, exploring the interplay between operatic technique, improvisation, and materialized vocal presence.
